Physician Assistant
Chelsea Beer is a board-certified Physician Assistant who started her career as a PA in 2019. She completed her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Psychology, followed by graduate school for a Master of Science in PA Studies at Rush University in Chicago. Chelsea’s interest in medical skincare began when she gained two years of invaluable experience working in dermatology prior to starting PA school. She began working with Dr. Abrou in 2020, where she received specialized training in medical and surgical dermatology, including dermatologic oncology.
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Training alongside Dr. Abrou has been an extraordinary learning opportunity to grow as a provider in a field of medicine that she is passionate about. Her special interests include skin cancer detection and treatment, psoriasis and use of biologic medications, and community outreach. Above all, she loves to educate and treat her patients so they feel healthy and confident in their skin. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time outdoors with her husband and two dogs, with a good SPF of course!
